One person is facing misdemeanor charges after police found a suspicious package in Millennium Park.

Officers evacuated the park Saturday afternoon. A bomb and arson squad representative says the package contained two bricks and investigators determined it was harmless.

Police say people in a role-playing event left the package near the Cloud Gate Sculpture, commonly known as "The Bean."

"There was a suspicious package that was found. It was covered in duct tape and had wires sticking out of it," said the Chicago Fire Department's Mitchell Crooker.

"They had us evacuate the restaurants and move everybody out," said Bernie Laskowski of the Park Grill, located near the scene.

Emmett Defrisco, 18, has been charged with disorderly conduct.
