Daniel Toro was driving Monday morning in the 3000 block of West Ogden when the storm hit. A large tree branch crashed through the sunroof of his car and struck him.
Toro died from his injuries Monday afternoon. Family members say they are trying to make sense of the accident.
"He was a family man, helped out in the community, helped out in the family. Anybody who needed anything, they would come to my father. A hard worker," said Monica Toro, daughter.
Toro leaves behind a wife, six children, and ten grandchildren.
