Young fan shows off dance moves on ABC7

July 15, 2011 (CHICAGO)

A young fan decided to bust a move outside the ABC7 State Street Studio Thursday at the end of the 5 p.m. newscast.

The little boy, realizing he was on TV, decided to show off his stuff -- and he has some good moves. So ABC7 decided to put a little music to it.

ABC7 found Cooper Maas and brought him onto the morning show to show off his moves again. His mom, Kathy says:

"Cooper is almost 7 and going into the 2nd grade at Palos East Elementary. We visit my Dad, his "Pop", who lives in Bridgeport, often and it's planes, trains and automobiles from there! We tour all over downtown and if we are in the area around a newscast, we stop by. He has ALWAYS been a dancer since I can remember and I'm sure that is also because his/our love of music. If there is any place we go where there is a stage, Cooper beelines for it. He even refers to the entertainers at these places as his "friends". He loves the Blackhawks and even sings the Star Spangled Banner in a Wayne Messmer type voice. It's hilarious."
