Cupcakes are all the rage these days -- with specialty bakeries popping up across the country and Chicago. Candace Nelson started the cupcake craze when she opened Sprinkles Cupcakes, the very first cupcake bakery. She's also a judge on the Food Network's hit show called "Cupcake Wars."
Candace talks about the one year anniversary of Sprinkles Chicago location and serves as judge for Windy City LIVE's own cupcake war between WCL viewers Ronald Martin from Hyde Park; Angela Lott from Merrillville, Ind.; and JoAnne Krall from Bartlett.

Candace Nelson is the founder and pastry chef of Sprinkles Cupcakes, the world's first cupcake bakery. Candace is a graduate of Tante Marie's Professional Pastry Program in San Francisco and Wesleyan University.
