Mark R. Lewis was placed under arrest on July 14, 2011. He was wanted for questioning by Naperville police in the murder of his sister, Cathleen Lewis, 59, on June 8, 2011. Her body was found after her mother called police because she was not able to get a hold of her. She had been beaten to death.
Naperville police indicated Lewis was a person of interest just days after the murder, but were unable to locate him. Florida officials said he was taken into custody without incident.
He has not been charged in his sister's murder, but is currently being held on identity theft charges. Lewis is accused of stealing from his mother.
