The 2012 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show (restaurant.org) will take place at McCormick Place from May 5-8. The International Wine, Spirits and Beer Event (winespiritsbeer.org) has been moved to May 6 and 7th.
The restaurant show was originally scheduled from May 15-22, but that would coincide with the Global G8 and NATO Summit.
According to a release from the National Restaurant Association, the show brings more than 58,000 foodservice professionals to town. The event has been in Chicago for the past 51 consecutive years and is contracted to remain there through 2016.
