Crews spray after West Nile found in Evanston mosquitoes

Crews were out spraying along Chicago's North Shore Tuesday night after mosquitoes tested positive for the West Nile virus in Evanston.

They started around 8 p.m. in suburbs including Winnetka, Evanston and west suburban Cicero.

Health officials say spraying for insects is necessary because a hot summer could increase mosquito activity.

Crews sprayed along the North Shore until 2 a.m.
