CUB: Customers pay hundreds for unused cell services

You may be paying too much for your cell phone's data service plan.

The Citizens Utility Board analyzed nearly 19,000 bills over three years and found 70 percent of the bills had an average of $331 per year in unused minutes, texts, megabytes and useless services.

CUB is releasing a new guide to protect consumers from bad deals. The guide is a companion to the group's online service that analyzes wireless bills.
