The teens were reportedly sitting on a porch at 78th and Homan in Marquette Park when they were approached by someone who exited an abandoned house. It's not clear why the gunman fired at them.
Both victims were hospitalized. Their conditions have not been released.
A peace walk happened in the same neighborhood just two blocks away from the scene earlier Saturday.
