Several men are charged in a prostitution scheme involving two teenage girls in south suburban Phoenix.

Police say the girls' drug-addicted mother left them with Eric Carey before she moved to Iowa. Carey allegedly forced one of the girls to have sex with him in exchange for food, and let his landlord have sex with the girls instead of paying rent.

Authorities also say he also let another friend, 60-year-old Nelson Harris, abuse the girls.

The landlord, Ramiro Orozco, 32, was released after posting bail.

Carey and Harris were being held Wednesday on $75,000 bond on charges of aggravated criminal sexual assault.
