The average price that Americans are paying for gasoline has dropped 9 cents a gallon in the past three weeks.

The Lundberg Survey that was released Sunday night finds the national average is $3.61 due to a big drop in crude oil prices and demand.

The lowest price in the latest survey was in Tucson, Ariz., at $3.26 for a gallon of regular. Once again, the city with the highest average was Chicago at $3.97 a gallon.
