The tour manager for the band "Portugal. The Man" met with Chicago police at a suburban storage facility Wednesday to identify the equipment.
It was seized during an arrest Tuesday. Juan Ocampo, 39, is charged with theft in the case.
Police say he knew the equipment was stolen when he purchased it at a South Side flea market.
The equipment was in the band's van and trailer which were stolen after their Grant Park performance.
