August 19, 2011 (OMAHA, Neb.) --A Southwest Airlines flight from Omaha, Nebraska, bound for Midway Airport in Chicago was canceled due to a bad hail storm that injured a pilot.
The pilot was hit by large hailstones while standing in a jetway . He was treated at a hospital.
Officials temporarily shut down Eppley Airfield in Omaha. The hail shattered car windows.
