CDC: Don't skip your flu shot this year

According to the CDC, protection wanes over the course of a year. So this recommendation applies to everyone over six months of age.

But this season's guidelines also cover the newly approved Fluzone Intradermal vaccine for adults 18 to 24. The shot involves a much shorter needle which delivers the vaccine just under the skin rather than the muscle. This should result in less pain and muscle soreness.
