Teresa McKelevey says a stranger who spotted her son Tyson Tuesday called his school, Sunnyside Elementary. McKelevey says the woman asked if she should bring the first grader back to the school and was asked instead to take him to his home.
"To put my child in a car with a stranger and make that person responsible for my child is unacceptable. I can't get over that," said McKelevey.
McKelevey says when she talked to the school's principal she was told the woman who drove the boy home knew him. But she says she doesn't know the woman.
ABC7's messages to school officials have not been answered.
