Briar Rabbit & The Company You Keep released their eponymous debut album in February and have been a must-see act to catch this summer.
The band recently raised $6,220 on Kickstarter to buy a short bus for transportation (they are shopping for the bus still), so they can play more shows and tour the Midwest/US. It's been difficult to play full band live shows and have had to turn down opportunities. Their plan is to convert the bus to run on veggie oil. The conversion is still going to cost around $5,800, but the band wants to fulfill their responsibility to the environment, plus it makes touring more financially feasible.
You can catch Briar Rabbit & The Company You Keep Wednesday, August 31 at Lincoln Hall at 9 p.m.
