WCL: Legendary Radio DJ Herb Kent stops by to talk 'Soul Train'

V103 radio DJ, Herb Kent joined us to today to share stories of his 66 years on Chicago radio. He'll be DJing and co-hosting next Monday's 40th Anniversary Celebration of Soul Train in Millennium Park. Details for the event are below:

MONDAY, SEPT. 5, 2011

Pre-Concert Dance Party on the Chase Promenade at Cloud Gate
- 4 to 5:30 p.m.
- DJ Herb Kent will be spinning hit records from the 60s, 70s, & 80s

Chicago's 40th Anniversary Soul Train Concert at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion
- 6:30 p.m.
- Hosted by Herb Kent & Richard Steele
- Don Cornelius will be honored
- Performances from Jerry Butler, The Impressions, The Chi-Lites, The Emotions, & Gene Chandler
