Don Cornelius, the creator of the legendary Chicago television show "Soul Train," reflected on the show's 40th anniversary on Sunday.

"They all could move, they all could sing," Cornelius said in describing the dancers and performers that made his show so popular.

On Sunday night, he reminisced with Herb Kent of WVON, where Cornelius once worked as a deejay prior to creating "Soul Train." He also served as the television show's host and executive producer.

A Labor Day concert in Millennium Park Monday night will wrap up the weekend-long celebration of the show.
