Amazon tests new website design

The world's largest online retailer is testing a new design. The company's royal blue listing all of its departments is gone, replaced with a collapsible menu and a larger search window. Also, fewer suggested items appear on the homepage.Amazon hopes the new, less-cluttered look will makes the site easier for consumers shopping on smaller tablet computers. The company is expected to release its own tablet in a few weeks.
