Study finds fathers also biologically wired for child care

The Northwestern University study appears in today's edition of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

It finds that testosterone levels in men sharply decline when they become fathers.

That reduction in testosterone can lead males to spend less time competing for a mate and more time taking on the responsibilities of fatherhood.
