The Convention center is located off of I-80 at Harlem Avenue in Tinley Park. The event begins at 10 a.m. each day.
On Friday morning, September 23, the Combat Challenge course will be operational and firefighters will be on hand to demonstrate the various events in the competition. The course will also be available to members of the media to test their skills and participate with firefighters. Firefighters and organizers will also be on hand for interviews about the event.

The Firefighter Combat Challenge annually attracts hundreds of U.S. and Canadian municipal fire departments at 25 different locations and is now expanding to countries around the world. Firefighters compete against the clock in events that include: High-Rise Hose Pack Carry, Hose Carry, Forcible Entry, Hose Advance and Victim Rescue.
