Moo and Oink, the chain of iconic Chicago meat stores, is in bankruptcy and has shut its doors after 150 years.

There were two stores on the South Side, one on the West Side and another in south suburban Hazel Crest. The stores employed about 200 people.

A lawyer for Moo and Oink's largest creditor says it wants to take over the assets and sell them, but a group of investors hopes to buy the company and re-open the stores.
