St. Sabina starts reward program to break code of silence

October 21, 2011 (CHICAGO)

in the past week, the faith community of Saint Sabina has given out two rewards for individuals who gave law enforcement information that led to arrests in high-profile cases, one being the case of Ondelee Perteet who was shot in September 2009. This week, a young man was convicted.

And a reward was given to a person who gave police information about the August shooting of Darius Brown.

Five people have been charged.
