At around 3:4 a.m., Burnham police say a man identified as 34-year-old Ronnie Bobo walked into the bar and started shooting a gun. According to officials, an off-duty Harvey police officer announced himself and the man fled, but returned fire into the Little Brown Jug.
The off-duty officer pursued the suspect and shot him. Bobo died of his injuries at a local hospital.
One person received a superficial wound during the exchange of gunfire.
