An Oak Park physician arrested for exchanging prescription drugs for sex and money is now facing a federal charge.

Thirty-seven-year-old Joshua Baron was arrested in January by the Wilmette Police Department. They say he was caught in an undercover sting placing ads on Craigslist offering to exchange drugs for cash or sex.

Now, a US Drug Enforcement Administration investigation has led to the new charge of attempted distribution of a controlled substance.

Since Baron's arrest in January, his medical license has been suspended
