Latasha Nevitt, 30, was last seen walking to a convenience store five blocks from her home near 107th and Loomis. Her family says they don't believe she would just walk away from her life and her children.
Nevitt's family and community leaders passed out flyers around her neighborhood Saturday morning. Later in the day, her mother made a passionate plea for her safe return.
"I am hoping and praying that nothing bad has happened to you, but we need everyone to try to help us to get you back home," said Brenda Morgan, Nevitt's mother.
Nevitt's husband Isaac is believed to be the last person to see her before she disappeared. Police say there were no signs of foul play at the couple's home.
