Don Pelka and Shelly Martine tied the knot in their front lawn. After the ceremony they drank a toast then went for a ride in a hearse. The newlyweds say Halloween is their favorite holiday and a natural choice for their wedding.
"Why would there be any other day? This is our thing. Look around. Have you looked around?" Martine said.
"You can have a lot of fun. The kids enjoy it. I mean, it's like a circus," Pelka said.
Martine said their love of Halloween and all their decorations bring the neighborhood together. And most of the people at the wedding were neighbors.
