Occupy Chicago demonstrators held a rally Saturday afternoon in Rogers Park.

Then they came downtown on the Red Line to join other protestors. Many chanted as they marched from State and Jackson to Lasalle and Jackson. Some brought their children.

The movement began in New York with Occupy Wall Street and has spread to cities around the world. Occupy Chicago describes its mission as fighting corporate abuse of American democracy.
