Chicago ballerinas to perform with Moscow Ballet

November 13, 2011

The dancers will perform with the esteemed Moscow Ballet in Tchaikovsky's "Great Russian Nutcracker" in December at the Rosemont Theatre.

All the talented SPACE students represent Chicago and its suburbs.

Altin Naska, owner and founder of SPACE, joined us in our ABC7 studio to talk about the performance accomplishment and to show off their dance skills with a piece from the "Nutcracker." Naska was part of the selection committee during auditions along with Moscow Ballet representatives. He choreographs all the children's parts for the ballet. Dancers Krista Casuga, Danielle Fatore, Medina Kolari and Liza DeWhite also performed the "Spanish Dance" from the Nutcracker Suite.
