Reverend Jesse Jackson and other dignitaries cut the ribbon at the restaurant in the 20000 block of West 47th Street.
JGJ Corporation has acquired nine Pizza Huts from corporate ownership. The locations will employ 250 workers and create up to 60 additional jobs within the next year through the purchase of two new restaurants. Fifth Third Bank helped facilitate the deal.
Reverend Jackson says this is a breakthrough in today's struggling economy.
