Man called 911 five times about iPhone

November 16, 2011 (BRISTOL, Ill.)

In fact, Michael Skopec of Bristol was so upset with malfunctioning iPhone, he called 911 five times to complain.

As you might imagine, Skopec didn't get the tech support he was searching for.

DISPATCHER: "We're going to have an officer come over and help you out."

CALLER: "You're going to have an officer come over and help me find out why my phone's not working?"

DISPATCHER: "Yes, because I can't help you. I don't know why your phone is not working, sir."

CALLER: "...Why's that? That's pretty dumb?"

DISPATCHER: "On whose part?"

Police say Skopec appeared drunk when they arrived. He was arrested after he refused to cooperate with the officers and is charged with resisting a peace officer.
