Police in northwest Indiana are crediting a citizen for helping them catch two suspected armed carjackers Saturday night.

Indiana state police say they were pursuing three juveniles along Kennedy Avenue in Hammond, Ind., on suspicion of an armed carjacking. Police say they jumped out of their vehicle and ran.

Two of the suspects ran toward a house when a witness pulled out his legally licensed gun and ordered the suspects -- ages 14 and 15 -- to the ground. Police arrested them a short time later. Nobody was hurt.

Police are still searching for the third suspect.
