A north suburban man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the murder of his aunt on Christmas day last year.

Twenty-five-year-old Anthony Rapoport pleaded guilty to first degree murder in court Wednesday morning. He and his aunt, Nancee Rapoport, lived together in Skokie.

Prosecutors say they had an argument on Christmas day, and Anthony Rapoport used a baseball bat to kill her.

Relatives called police, who arrested Rapoport a few blocks from the home.
