Chopper 7 HD was over the scene just before 7 a.m. Friday morning.
A Santa Fe freight train derailed on an overpass near 47th and Archer.
Fire officials say the incident involved one car with two containers believed to be filled with paper products.
Crews closed the intersection so they could bring in a crane to upright the derailed train.
No one was hurt.
CTA buses were temporarily rerouted in that area and some Metra Heritage Corridor trains were delayed.
