It happened Saturday afternoon at a branch inside the Jewel store on Southport.
Police say the man implied he had a weapon but no one saw it. The suspect made off with about $400.
No one was hurt.
And the FBI says a photo shows the man who tried to rob a Lincoln Park bank Friday afternoon. It happened at the North Community Bank branch in the 2300 block of North Clark.
Investigators say someone else robbed this bank two weeks ago. On Friday, the suspect did not show a weapon or imply that he had one. He did not get any cash.
