Service on the CTA's Red Line is back to normal after reports of a problem near North and Clybourn.

A smell of smoke was reported Monday afternoon and as a result the Red Line began rerouting above ground between Fullerton and Cermak. The CTA also put a shuttle in place from Fullerton to Clark/Lake.

By 3:20 p.m., service was back to normal after the fire department investigated.
