Jocelyn and Richard Bugayon were caregivers for a 92-year-old Mount Prospect woman.
Her nephew told police about a suspicious shortfall in her checking account.
Police say the Bugayons told the victim she was endorsing checks to charities, then they would keep the money.
Police say a total of about $2,400 is missing.
