A south suburban woman who is disabled is pleading for the person who stole her van to bring it back.

Last Thursday, someone took Andrea Florenz's vehicle from her parking lot.

Her collapsible wheelchair was also inside.

Florenz, who is 50 years old and is a paraplegic, says she was going back to school for a career change and without her van, she is unable to get to and from classes and may be forced to drop out.

"I'm sure you don't want go to prison but you've confined me and leave me a prisoner in my home," said Florenz. "All I'm asking is: Just leave my van somewhere where it can get back to me."

Florenz says the charger for her electric wheelchair was also in her van when it was stolen.
