Young patients at the hospital got a Christmas extension Tuesday through the generosity of one woman. Jessie Tendayi, who works in the cafeteria at Advocate Trinity Hospital, donated more than 100 new toys for the kids who got to choose their favorites. It brought joy to the patients as well as well as the provider.
Jessie has organized and paid for toy giveaways at other hospitals as well dating back to last year.
