Among the stars who'll be on hand is acclaimed actor James Earl Jones. He'll accept the Oscar Micheaux honor, named for the first African American producer and filmmaker, who was from Illinois.

Funny man Jason Segel will appear, nominated for writing the screenplay for "the Muppets". It's a recent movie he also produced and stars in.

Chicago's own Dennis Farina gets the Commitment to Chicago tribute. His most recent film is "The Last Rites of Joe May." Farina insisted it be shot in Chicago.

ABC7's Janet Davies will present him with the award.

The event is Saturday night at 6 and you can still get tickets to be part of the festivities at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place and the after party to celebrate with the stars, go to Ticketmaster.
