Roman Catholic elementary school enrollment on rise

According to an annual survey by the office of catholic schools, enrollment has increased by 650 students over the course of 2010 and 2011.

It is the first enrollment increase over two consecutive years since 1965.

The greatest increase in students is at the kindergarten, first, and second grade levels, which have risen a combined 8 percent during the past two years.
