According to the Sun-Times, the Kennedys want to put a three-tower complex at Wolf Point.
Wolf Point is the site on the Chicago River where the river divides into branches just west of the Merchandise Mart.
The Sun-Times building overlooks it. The Kennedy family has owned the site since the 1940's.
The developments would be for residential and office use. The tallest building would be about 60 stories.
A formal proposal should be submitted to city hall by March or April.
