Five homes were hit, all located between Church and Crawford. Now, police are asking for residents to pay closer attention to what's happening around them.
Police say in each case, force was used to open a door or a window to the house while the resident was not at home.
Several things were taken, including jewelry, computer equipment and a flat-screen television.
Police have searched each home for evidence, and they interviewed neighbors to try to find witnesses.
"They asked if we had seen anyone, and I explained to them that I had been out of town and I had not. And my son-in-law who was here earlier hadn't seen anybody either," said Larry Kaufman.
Investigators believe some of the burglaries may be linked to the same offender.
