A proposal in the Illinois House that has been met with some confusion from legislators and pro-life groups, House Bill 3027, will not rewrite sex education in the state.
Instead, it strengthens existing language, according to Rep. Camille Lilly, a Chicago Democrat and the lead sponsor in the House.
