About Gina Driskell
Gina Driskell is the tour guide for The Great Migration: African American Heritage. She is a native Chicagoan, originally from the Bronzeville area. Gina is a graduate of Kenwood High School, Bradley University in Peoria (double major in Speech & Theatre Arts/Radio & Television) and received her Master of Arts degree (Music Business Management) at Columbia College Chicago.
As the owner of Subrosa Music, a public relations agency, and co-secretary of the Chicago Tour Guide Professionals Association, Gina leads a multi-faceted life as a publicist for musicians and a tour director, guide, and planner.
Gina is familiar with much of Chicago's African American history, has experience in the tourism and hospitality field, and has a close relationship with creatives in the cultural and arts industries.

Chicago Neighborhood Tours is presented by the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture. All tours are conducted with a guide by motor coach and by foot, and depart from the Chicago Cultural Center, 77 East Randolph Street. Check in at 9:30 am (10:30 am for Hops & Barley: Pubs & Microbreweries only) in the main seating area behind the Randolph Street lobby. Tours range from $30-$55. Group rates are available. Early reservations are highly recommended.
