Skin doctors are now warning too much of the heat can lead to a skin condition called Toasted Skin Syndrome.
Two reports in the Archives Of Dermatology detail cases of a rash, apparently caused by pressing the back of the legs to warmed up seats for prolonged periods.
The rashes were described as being rusty brown with a net-like pattern.
Toasted Skin Syndrome might be ugly, but it's not considered serious.
Doctors say the biggest issue is that is can mimic other conditions and could lead to unnecessary testing if not diagnosed accurately.
