There are only three people in the country who have this job. On Sunday, March 4, 2012, a public build-off event will help find the fourth such person.
The Master Model Builder is responsible for developing new exhibits and models for the Legoland Discovery Center Chicago in Schaumburg (link: http://www.legolanddiscoverycenter.com/chicago/en/news-and-events/events-calendar/mmbcompetition.htm). Operations Manager Dave Specha joined us live from the site of the contest during our ABC7 Sunday Morning newscast to talk about the contest and to show off his own skills with LEGOS.
The public build-off will test the finalists' skills and creativity during three rounds that will be judged by an expert panel and the public. The winner will get a full-time, salaried position at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago.
