Schools, courts honor Pulaski Day

Monday is Pulaski Day, in honor of the Polish-born revolutionary war hero Casimir Pulaski, and it means a number of closures in Chicago and Cook County.

All Chicago public schools and many suburban schools are closed.

All Chicago public libraries will be closed. All county courts are closed except central bond court.

Federal and state offices are open and there will be mail delivery.

The CTA, Metra and Pace are all on a normal weekday schedule
