Thumbelina and Ethel were the last two dogs in need of adoption after being cared for by Chicago's Anti-Cruelty Society.
ABC 7's Frank Mathie visited the dogs last month to highlight their need for homes.
Two-year-old Thumbelina is now living in her new home in the southwest suburbs. Two-and-a-half-year-old Ethel has found a home in the city.
The Anti-Cruelty Society says that both dogs were adopted by people who are able to deal with the special needs of the extremely shy pets.
