Subaru recalling Forester

March 15, 2012

The automaker says more than 200,000 Foresters have a rear seat belt that may not hold a child seat securely in place.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the Forester's rear center belt does not meet federal safety standards.

The recall includes 2009 through 2012 models of the Forester. Subaru will notify owners about repairs, which begin next month.
